DMCA Notice
Iron District respects intellectual property rights and expects visitors, contributors, and other users of this website to do the same. If you believe that content published on this website infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A). We review sufficiently detailed notices and take appropriate action when warranted under applicable law. Submitting a notice does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred.
What to include
- Your full name, company or organization if applicable, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address where we can contact you regarding your notice.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list or describe each work clearly enough for us to identify it.
- The exact URL of each page containing the disputed material, or another sufficiently clear description of where the material appears on the website.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or applicable law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature. An authorized representative submitting the notice on behalf of a copyright owner should clearly identify their authority to act.
Where to send a notice
Send copyright notices to [email protected]. Use a subject line that identifies the message as a copyright or DMCA notice, and include enough specific information for us to locate the material. Please avoid including unrelated personal or confidential information. We may contact you if clarification is needed before we can assess the request. Sending a notice to this address does not replace any filing or service requirements imposed by applicable law.
Counter notice
If you believe that material you submitted or made available was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A counter notice should identify the material and its former location, explain why you believe the removal was erroneous, include the required statements under penalty of perjury, provide your contact details, and contain your physical or electronic signature. It must also include the statements concerning consent to jurisdiction and acceptance of service required by the statute. We will handle complete counter notices in accordance with applicable law. Submitting a counter notice does not guarantee that material will be restored.
Misrepresentation
Anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that content or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be subject to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please review the facts carefully before submitting a notice or counter notice. Iron District may retain relevant correspondence and records as reasonably necessary to evaluate a claim, respond to legal obligations, and protect the rights of the website and its users. Information submitted as part of a copyright process may need to be shared where required by law or necessary to process the claim.
